Luxury hotel description
Pousada Maravilha B&B is an exclusive retreat offering the best in comfort for anyone wishing to enjoy breathtaking contact with nature on the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha, Pernambuco State, Brazil. It lies in Baía do Sueste, and with only five bungalows and three suites imparts to its privileged guests a unique feeling of living in harmony with the local ecosystem. Beyond its beaches, bays and lush nature, Fernando de Noronha also holds other surprises for tourists. A 500-year long history has turned this Archipelago into a Natural and Historic Heritage worth visiting and preserving.
The services offered to guests are on a par with those of a five-star hotel, such as spa, gym, sauna and massage room. Upon arrival, the guest‘s luggage is unpacked by experienced chambermaids and, for their convenience, a pre-check-in is available at the Fernando de Noronha airport. For these services and particularly for its natural beauty and amazing landscaping details, Pousada Maravilha B&B has been awarded an ISO 14001 for its Environmental Management System, Best Small Hotel of South America 2009 - Condé Nast Johansens 2009, Top Ten of 2008 Tourism and 3rd Best Island Resort of 2007 - Newsweek Japan. Maravilha is a destination that lingers forever in our guests‘ memory. Pousada Maravilha B&B offers two accommodation options. Five bungalows, each accommodating two guests, and three luxury apartments for up to four guests. The Bungalows boast nearly 600 sq feet overlooking the sea, hammock on the porch, split air conditioner, 37“ LCD TV, DVD player, king size bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and digital safe. All luxury apartments feature an area of about 500 sq feet and pamper guests with all the amenities of the bungalows, except for a Japanese hot tub on the balcony and an ibox. Enjoy the restaurant „O Melhor da Ilha“ which has several listings for gourmet and which is renowned as one of the best restaurants of Brazil.
To ensure species preservation and rational human occupation the Archipelago of Fernando de Noronha is divided into the National Marine Park and an Environmentally Protected Area. For its sheer beauty and lush vegetation Fernando de Noronha was declared a Natural World Heritage Site in 2001. In Noronha, two seasons prevail during the year, i.e., a dry season lasting from September to February and a rainy season with occasional rains from March to August. The temperature remains mostly steady throughout the year at an average 28ºC/82F with sunshine and a refreshing sea breeze.
